Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 18, 2026

This policy describes our current, actual data practices. It is a working draft pending final legal review before public launch, and will be finalized before Draipery is submitted to the App Store.

Draipery is a product of ZRo Friction Digital LLC ("ZRo Friction Digital LLC", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through the Draipery app and this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Who we are

ZRo Friction Digital LLC operates Draipery, a wardrobe-planning app. Draipery is intended for adults age 18 and older.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information, only when you provide it or when it is generated by using the app's features:

  • Account information — the email address and password you use to create and sign in to your account.
  • Wardrobe information — the details you enter about your clothing items, such as category, color, brand, size, condition, fit, use case, season, and how often you wear them.
  • Clothing photos — photos you upload of your own clothing items.
  • Photos containing you — a photo of yourself, uploaded only if you choose to use the virtual try-on feature, and only after you explicitly consent to that feature.
  • Virtual try-on and generated images — outfit visualizations generated from your wardrobe photos and, where applicable, your photo.
  • Location and weather information — a location used to look up local weather so outfit suggestions can account for it. This is either your device's location, which requires you to grant location permission, or a city you type in manually, which does not require location permission.
  • Subscription and purchase information — your subscription tier and status, used to determine which features are available to you.
  • Basic technical information — standard information generated by using our services, such as the IP address handled by our infrastructure providers as part of normal network requests.

We do not currently operate a dedicated app analytics or crash-reporting service, and we do not collect wardrobe photos, try-on photos, or account contents through any third-party analytics tool.

How we use your information

  • To create and maintain your account and let you sign in.
  • To store and display your wardrobe, outfits, and weekly plans.
  • To generate outfit visualizations you request through virtual try-on.
  • To provide weather-aware and occasion-aware outfit suggestions.
  • To determine which features your subscription tier includes.
  • To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the app and this website.
  • To respond to support requests you send us.

Virtual try-on: what happens to your photo

Virtual try-on is optional and requires your explicit, separate consent before any photo of you is used. When you use it, your photo and the photos of the wardrobe items you select are sent to a third-party image-processing provider (which provider is used depends on your subscription tier) to generate the outfit visualization. The result is stored in your account so you can view it again without regenerating it.

You can delete your uploaded photo and any generated visualizations from within the app at any time, or revoke your consent, which removes your stored consent record.

Color detection

When you add a patterned or multi-color item, we may send that item's photo to a third-party image-recognition service to automatically detect its dominant colors. Only the detected color values are stored with your item — this service is not used on photos containing you.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers, by category, so they can perform services on our behalf:

  • Cloud infrastructure providers — host our database, authentication, file storage, and backend functions. This is where your account, wardrobe data, and photos are stored.
  • Image-processing providers — process images to generate virtual try-on visualizations and to automatically detect colors in patterned or multi-color items.
  • Weather data providers — supply local weather information based on your device's location, so outfit suggestions can account for it.
  • Subscription management providers — manage subscription status and entitlements tied to your app store purchase.
  • Apple, and Google once Android is available — processes app store payments and provides subscription/purchase records back to us.

These providers may process and store information in the United States or other countries where they or their infrastructure operate. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Draipery, our users, or others.

Data storage, security, and retention

Your wardrobe photos and any photos containing you are stored in separate, private storage locations, and database rules restrict each account to its own data. Connections to our services are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and our infrastructure provider encrypts stored data at rest as part of its standard hosting practices.

We retain your wardrobe data, photos, and generated images for as long as your account is active, or until you delete the specific item, photo, or your account. One exception: a virtual try-on visualization that is not attached to a saved outfit or a day in your weekly planner is automatically deleted after 90 days, since it is no longer reachable from within the app.

Your choices and rights

  • You can view, edit, or delete individual wardrobe items and photos directly in the app.
  • You can revoke virtual try-on consent and delete related photos at any time.
  • You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us, or by using our account deletion page.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your app store account settings.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account and its associated data at any time using draipery.com/delete-account. That page explains exactly what is removed and how long it takes.

Children

Draipery is intended for adults age 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International users

If you use Draipery from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
